VILLAGERS turned out in good numbers to make use of the new bus service introduced for Saracen’s Head and Moulton Seas End.

Bus firm Btylaine agreed to add the two villages to its Sutton Bridge to Boston route after a campaign by a number of councillors representing the two villages.

One of them, Coun Anthony Casson said: “We are very pleased with the reintroduction of this service after we were lobbied by residents for it.

“I trust that the service will now be well used as it is a case of ‘use it or lose it’.”

Coun Malcolm Chandler added: “The group of residents waiting for the bus on its first morning demonstrates the need for it.

“It is a big step forward linking the villages with a nearby town and on behalf of residents we would like to thank Brylaine.”

There are two buses to Boston in the morning and two returning in the afternoon.
