Sutton Bridge Youth Club members can look forward to a brighter future after a generous donation from shoppers at Lincolnshire Co-op.

The youth club, which meets at the Curlew Centre on Thursdays, was presented with almost £550 by the Co-op’s community liaison representative Barry Robbins (pictured with youth worker Maria Maidment) on Thursday.

Shoppers at Sutton Bridge’s Co-op store helped raise the money for the club which caters for youngsters aged between seven and 16.

Honorary club secretary Chris Brandon-King said: “Members of the youth club are now more able to enjoy their evenings in future through the generosity of Lincolnshire Co-op and its Community Champions scheme.”
