MUSIC from Indonesia was brought to life in Gosberton Risegate thanks to the Scarlet Community Music Club.

Children put on a performance of Gamelan music at the village’s Marjorum Hall.

At the start of the project, the children named the Gamelan, as is the tradition in Indonesia.

Organiser Liz Lenten said: “We had many fantastic names suggested, but after voting we decided on Twilight Spirit.

“The children were fantastic. They really embraced the whole cultural experience.

“The music and the dancing, and the shadow puppet show were pure magic.

“We were very proud of them all.”
