VIDEO: The colours of the Queen

GEDNEY Church became an explosion of colour for hundreds of visitors to its four-day Flower Festival last weekend.

A variety of bright and brilliant flower arrangements were admired by guests of all ages to the church known as The Cathedral of the Fens.

This year’s festival had the theme Elizabeth’s Journeys with flowers reflecting various aspects of the Queen’s reign.

Church treasurer Jane Webb said: “We had visitors from all over the country, with a lot of people saying how wonderful the arrangements were and how beautiful the church looked.”
