East Elloe Rotary Club’s only honorary member has been recognised for his years of support with a prestigious award.

Bill Trayford of Gedney has been made a Paul Harris Fellow, Rotary’s highest award for members, after a ceremony at Whaplode Manor, Saracen’s Head.

He was given the award by Rotary district governor Margaret Morley and club president Colin Tavner who said Mr Trayford was “a very keen and active supporter of the club’s fundraising for charity, even in his retirement.”
