Two pygmy goats were stolen from a smallholding in Holbeach St Johns on Wednesday night.
The pets were taken from a paddock at the front of a property in Jeckil's Bank between 5pm on Wednesday and 8am on Thursday.

Owner Sam Poole said one of the goats is pregnant and that together the pair would be worth in the region of £500 to £600.

She says that out of the six goats she has the two that were taken were the pure pygmy breeds, the ones worth the most money.

She said: "I just want whoever's taken them to bring them back."
The incident has particularly upset Sam's five-year-old son Aaron.

She said: "He had to sleep with me the next night because he was worried they were going to come back.

"He just sobbed and sobbed."

  • Anyone with information about the theft or who saw anything suspicious in the area should contact Lincolnshire Police on 01522 532222 quoting incident 69 of March 13.
