There are two concerts of interest to classical music lovers in south Lincolnshire on Friday and Saturday.
On Friday, Jonathan Hellyer Jones, director of college music at Magdalene College, Cambridge, is giving a harpsichord recital at 7.30pm at Windmill Music Club, which is held at Swineshead Village Hall.
On Saturday it is the turn of South Holland Concerts to provide a classical concert.
The Piatti String Quartet will be performing at South Holland Centre in Spalding at 7.30pm.
The young ensemble has won many classical music awards and made critically acclaimed recordings.
The quartet, consisting of artistes Nathaniel Anderson-Frank (1st violin), Michael Trainor (2nd violin), David Wigram (viola) and Jessie Ann Richardson (cello), will present a memorable musical experience.
The programme will consist of Beethoven’s Quartet No 3 in D major, Opus 18; Ravel’s Quartet in F major; and Dvorak’s Quartet No 13 in G major, Opus 106.
Tickets, costing £13.50/£12 concessions (children and students in full time education free of charge) are available from South Holland Centre.
