STAFF from Spalding’s Sainsbury’s store experienced a day at the London 2012 Paralympic Games in recognition of their work to spread the word.

Jemma Bradley, Nicola Turford, Chris Sloan and Bethany Stimpson were among 5,000 Sainsbury’s workers who visited the Olympic Park on Monday with guaranteed access to three wheelchair basketball matches on the day, after they were nominated to win a place to attend the event.

Jemma said: “I’m really honoured to have been chosen from so many entries.

“I’ve really enjoyed helping local people to understand more about the Paralympic Games and it’s a great opportunity to meet other colleagues from across the country and learn about their Paralympic experience”.
