Trumpet call for help to raise £100,000

A community band in Holbeach is calling for support to raise £100,000 to find a new home. 
Holbeach Town Band rents its Back Lane premises from the parish council but has been given two years’ notice to move.
Last week, it held an open day to attract new members and to promote its learner group and training band. 
But in spite of seeking grant funding to build a new bandroom, there are fears for the band’s future. 
Musical director Mel Hopkin said: “The training band played to a very high standard to a small but enthusiastic audience. 
“It’s the strongest it has been for many years, but the training programme may have to come to an end when the band loses its bandroom. 
“We’d appreciate any help from the public – either financially or in
