Treasures of the British Library talk in Spalding

Nicolas Barker, first head of conservation at the British Library, will be giving a lecture at Spalding Grammar School on Friday (8pm).

It is entitled The Treasures of the British Library and is one of the lecture series organised by Spalding Gentlemen’s Society. Entry is £2 on the door.

The society’s museum in Broad Street in Spalding is open to the public on Sunday (1-4.30pm). All visitors are invited to enjoy the society’s exhibits and collections of books. Guides will be on hand to answer questions and to assist. Entry is free.
