Broad Lane was closed from around midday until 4pm while investigations took place.

Police have confirmed that a 29-year-old man, from Moulton, is currently being treated at Pilgrim Hospital in Boston. He was transferred there by air ambulance.

Police say early indications are that he fell ill at the wheel just before the car left the road and brought down a tree in a garden.

The Lincolnshire Free Press understands that the garden is at the home of Robert Oldershaw Jnr, next to Moulton Bulb Company.
