The search is on for hospital staff who have gone the extra mile for their patients, colleagues and families.
United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) has launched its annual Staff Awards scheme to celebrate the outstanding achievements of hospital staff across the county.
People can nominate those who they believe have shown dedication and commitment to providing high-quality care, whether at Johnson Community Hospital, Pinchbeck, Pilgrim Hospital, Boston, or other hospitals within Lincolnshire.
ULHT Trust chairman Ron Buchanan said, “Our Staff Awards are a great showcase for the wonderful work our colleagues do on a daily basis and nominations are open throughout the year.
“I would encourage everyone to put forward individuals and teams deserving of broader recognition.”
There are 13 award categories, including Compassion and Respect Towards Others, Unsung Heroes, Great Leadership and the Extra Mile Award, plus another category that is entirely patient-focused and open to nominations from patients only.
In addition, the Great Patient Experience Award is about recognising individual staff or teams who have made a significant impact in improving patients’ experiences, either on their ward or across the whole hospital.
Winners will be recognised at an awards ceremony in March 2016 and for more details, call 01522 573986.
