A man (22) from Spalding is to face a court hearing after a two-vehicle crash in Long Sutton where a driver had to be helped from their car.

It happened on the A1101 Wisbech Road where a Mini Coupe and Vauxhall Astra collided at about 11.15am yesterday and an air ambulance attended the scene, along with emergency services.

The Mini driver was helped from the car by firemen from Long Sutton and was taken to hospital with minor injuries, as was the Astra driver who was later reported by police for driving without due care and attention.

He is due to attend court at a later date.
