WEDNESDAY 10AM: A woman thought to be aged in her 30s has been badly injured after a car and bicycle collided on a busy Spalding road.

It happened on West Elloe Avenue where a bike and Vauxhall Corsa collided at about 8.45am.

The injured woman was treated at the scene by paramedics for suspected fractures to her arm and leg but it isn’t known yet whether she has been taken to hospital.

West Elloe Avenue itself was partially blocked because of the accident which caused delays for drivers coming to work in Spalding, especially at the road’s junctions with Pinchbeck Road and Commercial Road.
