GOOD transport links are essential in a rural county like Lincolnshire, and the county council is keen to hear people’s views about what its top priorities should be.
A consultation is currently underway for its fourth Local Transport Plan, which will set out transport policies and strategies for the next decade and beyond.
Coun William Webb, executive member for Highways and Transportation, said: “Most of us need to travel in our daily lives, to get to school or work perhaps, or to go shopping, so why not help shape the future of transport provision where you live?”
Organisations, businesses and residents are invited to complete a short questionnaire to share their views on transport priorities for the future.
It covers highways maintenance, transport in rural and urban areas, road safety and public transport.
The questionnaire is being distributed to those who have contributed before and is available online at www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/ltp4 or email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01522 782114 for a hard copy.
The deadline for returning completed questionnaires is July 27.
