Well said @TheTruthsayer. The problem with @Poacher He needs to understand the Highway code better, its people like him that end up causing accidents due to his arrogance and possibly his impatient attitude while out and about.

Perhaps these serious truck drivers should start obeying the Highway Code & speed limits and especially drive to the road conditions of the day. Comments about Fred's & Freda's "doddery old couples with nothing better to do should stay in and keep off the icy roads" Shows an attitude of arrogance and intollerance towards other drivers particularly senior citizens these comments are tantermount to "Road Rage" which is not acceptable under any circumstances.

The trouble is serious drivers going about their daily duties have to put up with the Fred and Freda's of this world who dispite the weather conditions have to go out shopping in bad conditions at 10 20 mph causing total mayhem , Lorry drivers are out in all weathers because its their job , you use it a truck brought it , but doddery old couples with nothing better to do should stay in and keep off the icy roads.

I don't suppose drivers take weather conditions into consideration when going from one place to another.

Ah.................that explains why the traffice came to a stop by the golf course at SURFLEET then !!!! A16 wasnt good in places this morning and West Marsh Road - WELL !!! You really would think that a better job could have been done with the amount of traffic fhat uses that way into work in the mornings. Also while they are at it Stonegate area ought to be salted to make it safe for the cars and buses dropping children off at schools and ............................................................................ the list could be endless !! And dont get me onto pavements !!!!!!!!
