Long tailbacks from A15 crash

MOTORISTS faced delays on the A15 on Thursday morning after a car hit a tree and bounced back into the road.

Tailbacks of about four miles were reported to police while emergency services attended the scene near Haconby just after 8.15am.

The driver of the silver Vauxhall Corsa, believed to be a man from the Market Deeping area, sustained minor injuries.

He was taken to Peterborough City Hospital for treatment.
