THERE were plenty of cheers and waves from passers-by as enthusiasts from across south Lincolnshire met for the fourth annual Moulton tractor rally.

More than 40 tractors of all sizes and ages snaked their way through South Holland’s road in a bid to raise as much money as possible for Moulton Mill.

The group travelled several miles around the villages and held a raffle and barbecue to raise £1,026.08 for the charity.

Organiser Paul Beecham said: “Thank you to everyone who gave raffle prizes and to everyone who helped us to do it behind the scenes. We had several people waving as they saw us.”

Plans are already being made for next year’s event.
