A MOSAIC to mark the passing of the Olympic Torch through Long Sutton on July 4 is to be made at Market House and presented to the town.
Parish council clerk Karen Treacher said it will be given to the parish council “if we are happy to accept it”.
Chairman Coun John Clarey told Thursday’s parish council meeting: “I think we are happy to accept it. We shall just have to decide at a later date where it is to be placed. It could be one of the schools.”
l The torch will pass along Main Road, Gedney Road, Market Street, High Street, London Road and Wisbech Road. Nearly 20 side roads will be closed while it goes by.
