FOUR dedicated councillors in Pinchbeck who have clocked up 134 years service between them have been honoured at a special thank you ceremony.

Former parish councillor Roland Darley, who retired in May after 50 years, was toasted, along with Maurice Chappell, Richard Dobbs and Judith Withyman.

The quartet were joined by their fellow parish councillors and a number of other guests from the community at the surprise presentation held at the Adult Study Centre in Knight Street.

Mr Darley was given a framed inscription to commemorate his work, while an inscribed silver salver was presented to each of the other three councillors.

Coun Chappell has served the community since 1979; Coun Dobbs since 1983 and Coun Withyman since 1987.
