SEVERAL teams have already signed up for the Lincolnshire Free Press and Spalding Guardian quiz – but there is still time to get involved.

Deputy editor Nigel Chapman will turn quizmaster and put knowledge to the test at St Norbert’s Church Hall on St Thomas’s Road, Spalding, on Thursday, May 17 (7pm for 7.30pm). All proceeds go to the Rotary Club of Spalding’s Two Lips Appeal.

Be quick entering as we can only accept 20 teams. There will be prizes for the winners.

Advance tickets, priced at £7.50 per person including a fish and chip supper provided by Turner’s Fish Restaurant, are available from our reception. Please be aware we are accepting cash only.

Teams can be a minimum of four people and maximum of eight.

A licensed bar will be available and there is plenty of car parking.

Thanks go to the St Norbert’s Church Hall committee for kindly donating the use of the hall for the evening.

If anyone is willing to sponsor the event by offering a raffle prize, we would be very grateful. Please call 01775 765420 if you can help.

We are thankful to our other sponsors so far: Veena Cornish Photography, Fun Junction, AlleyCatz, the Anglia Co-op, Everybody’s Gym and Marco’s Ice Cream Parlour.
