Three hurt in Long Sutton road crash

THREE people were hurt in a two vehicle crash at Gedney Road, Long Sutton, on Thursday.

An elderly couple from Wigtoft, a female driver aged 68 and a male passenger aged 70, suffered whiplash and the driver of the second car, a 25-year-old man from Sutton Bridge, went to King’s Lynn hospital and was due to have surgery on an arm injury.

Emergency services were called at about 4.30pm.

A recovery lorry went to the scene at teatime to collect the damaged red Ford Fusion and silver Ford Focus.
