TEN-year-old Anya Snowden has got this jubilee weekend licked already.
She has discovered Laddies’ jubilee ice cream, a red, blue and white concoction made using vanilla, strawberries or raspberries and blueberries.
The three scoops are squished into an extra long cone, suggestive of an Olympic torch, which will nicely fit the summer’s sporting theme too.
Ice cream maker Richard Ladbrook has also come up with a gold ice cream to mark the Diamond Jubilee, made using mandarin orange.
The verdict from Anya, grandaughter to Laddies’ manageress at the Holbeach shop Judith Snowden? “Scrummie!”
