In the Spalding Grammar School hall came the everlasting sounds of the 60s and 70s, as the Spalding Lions held one of their fund raising events which raised £850 for Hope for Tomorrow. The hall was transformed with wall decorations to help with the illusion of the disco era and many of those present dressed in the style according to the decade. During the evening a competition for the best dressed was held. Music was provided by Alan Long Services and a Hog Roast was prepared and delivered by Trevor Sharp Butchers of Gosberton.
