The original story of the famous orphan Oliver Twist is being brought to South Holland Centre in Spalding.

Red Earth Theatre is putting on the tale of the small Victorian boy who dared to ask for more on Tuesday (1pm).

Seized by the dastardly Fagin, saved by the philanthropic Mr Brownlow, snatched back by Fagin and once again retrieved, this boy’s tale of suspense and dark deeds is performed in the style of a Victorian music hall.

Fagin, Dodger, Nancy, Sikes and his faithful hound Bulls-Eye will be brought vividly to life by an energetic troupe of music hall artistes. To round off the afternoon, the centre cafe has a special offer of Victoria sponge and tea for £3.

Tickets are £7.50 from the box office or 01775 764777.
