The magic of Jane Austen

JANE Austen’s England will be re-incarnated at Spalding’s South Holland Centre on Saturday, with the assistance of Concert Royal, recreating the musical sounds of a bygone age.

Concert Royal is a long established early music group which has developed a distinctive and elegant style, recreating the elegant sounds of the Baroque and Classical eras and consists of Peter Harrison (flute), Rachel Gray (cello), John Trehearne (harpsichord) and Margaret Ashton (soprano).

The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets are available from the South Holland Centre box office on 01775 764777.
