A GOLF day has raised more than £3,500 for a charity which supports children of men and women killed while serving in the British Armed Forces.

Staff at Sutton Bridge firm Wingland Foods organise a charity golf day annually in aid of their charity of the year.

The charity is chosen by Wingland Foods staff and each employee has the chance to vote for the charity they want to support.

The event, which was open to all suppliers and staff, was held at Tydd St Giles Golf and Country Club and this year all proceeds will go to Scotty’s Little Soldiers.
