Talk (and sing) like an Egyptian

A mystical musical set in Ancient Egypt and starring local youngsters hits the stage on Saturday.

The Backstage Academy of Performing Arts is putting on Pharaoh’s Whisper at the Corn Exchange in King’s Lynn, starting at 7pm.

Featuring a cast mainly from the Long Sutton area, it sees Nefertiti and Cleopatra come together to save Egypt from the the evil Setesh.

They set out on a magical quest to seek help from Osiris, Queen of the Gods but the only way to reach her is to join Tutankhamen on her journey from her cursed tomb onto the seven steps to paradise where on judegement day they must face Osiris.
