A Gladiator Duel is one of the highlights of the Vintage Family Fun Day at the Memorial Park, Sutton Bridge, on Sunday (11am to 4pm).

The event, in aid of Sutton Bridge Community Centre Fund – which runs The Curlew Centre – will have far more going on though, with the only surviving Spitfire in the UK making a flypast, as well as a barbecue, beer tent, vintage and military vehicles, a car boot sale, bungee run, bouncy castle and teacup ride, plus display of owls and birds of prey and lots of other stalls.

Set up for stall holders is 8.30am and 9.30am for car booters.

Entrance is free and there are toilet facilities and parking at the venue. Alternatively, leave the car at home as buses 505 and 50 stop directly outside the Memorial Park.
