A massive £1,350 was scooped from a charity hockey tournament for the Garth School in Spalding.
The Garth School Charity Mixes Hockey Tournament involved 12 hockey teams from around Lincolnshire, including Spalding and Bourne-Deeping, and the winners were Peterborough, with Spalding runners-up.
Friends of the Garth School (FOGS) member Luke Jackson organised the event at Glen Park in Surfleet, and said the rest of the FOGS team had helped with a cake stall, bouncy castle and bar.
He said: “The whole day was to raise money for FOGS and we raised £1,350, which is really good. It’s been used for educational trips for classes and for equipment and toys.”
