Kirton motorcycle ace Ben Wilson was the star attraction at this year’s Springfields Motorbike Show in Spalding over the weekend.

The Gearlink Kawasaki rider was joined by former Isle of Man TT and Superbike star Jamie Whitham as VIPs at the two-day show staged at Springfields Events and Conference Show.

Thousands of fans with a fascination for bikes were in their element as more than thirty exhibitors provided everything from clothing and accessories to bikes and parts.

Organiser Jason Lunn said: “We had more exhibitors and more bikes on display than we’ve had for a number of years.

“The show attracted people from Norfolk, Northamptonshire and Nottinghamshire, as well as Lincolnshire, and we had a big audience.

“Jamie was a great talker and Ben was really popular with fans which was ideal in an area where road racing is really strong.”
