Have your say

Here comes the sun – and it’s time for everyone to get out and about and have fun.

Schools, churches, community groups and more have been making the most of the sunny weather at their summer fairs, fetes and barbecues.

Spalding Ukulele Orchestra strummed happily at Gosberton Risegate and Clough, children from St Norbert’s Roman Catholic Primary School had lots of fun and games to play, including fishing with nets in a ball pool, and St John’s Church in Spalding had some north of the border tunes courtesy of piper Allan Prebble and home-baked treats of cupcakes served by Sarah and Bethany Davies.

Summer dining came in a variety of flavours with a barbecue at Fleet Baptist Church’s summer fete and Sutton St Edmund volunteer Meg Norman serving Britain’s traditional summer sweet dish, strawberries and cream, in the church at their summer fair.
