Rose Lodge Care Home in Market Deeping is already planning next year’s summer fete following the success of this year’s event.
Around 100 people attended the summer fete on Saturday. As well as family and friends, there were representatives of the Alzheimer’s Society, Age UK, the DAA and The Care Quality Commission.
There were stalls, a bouncy castle, face painting, a Man vs Food challenge, fairground rides, as well as ballroom dancing in the garden, with music provided by a local entertainer.
Staff members raised over £500 for the residents’ fund.
Home manager Julie Britten said: “We are delighted local people made the effort to come to our summer fete and hope they had an enjoyable afternoon, as our residents certainly did.”
