Thomas Cowley High School, Donington, gave its students a taste of things to come at a careers fair attended by a range of potential employers.
South Holland Post 16 Centre, Boston College and Lincolnshire Co-operative were among the exhibitors questioned by students about their next steps in education, training or employment. It was the second time the school had hosted the event for Years 9, 10 and 11 students to speak to different education providers and employers.
A school spokesman said: “The aims of the day were to raise awareness of the jobs and career options available to students, encourage them to start thinking about post-school choices, assure them that they can achieve the grades they need and give them something to work for.
“Overall the day was a great success and it looks like the start of great things to come at Thomas Cowley High School.”
