Students raise cash in memory of Callum

Sir John Gleed School students and staff have paid their respects to former classmate Callum Pite (14) in the best way possible after raising more than £2,000 for a charity bearing his name.

The school hosted a fundraising afternoon activities in aid of Callum Pite’s Smile Charity that will help teenagers with cancer and their families.

Each student paid a pound in return for leaving their school uniforms at home and take part in competitions, games and events, including a charity football match where staff beat students 1-0. Photo: SG220313-134TW.
