New groups were premiered, such as the brass ensemble led by Corey-John Genovese, as well as the more established groups such as the choir, concert band, ukulele group and soul band.

The audience were treated to a variety of solos from vocal, to piano and violin with
notable performances from Alexander Simpson, Brandon Gibbins, Dylan Barker-Smith and Samuel Hearne.

The new ‘Mash Up’ project led by the Lincolnshire Music Support Service was also represented at the concert.

This project gives every student in Year 7 the chance to learn an orchestral instrument in the classroom, with the opportunity of continuing this tuition in smaller group lessons for the remainder of the school year.

Every student that performed put in many hours of preparation during school time and at home.
