STUDENTS at the St Guthlac School in Crowland celebrated the end of their secondary school life in style at their casino themed end of year prom.
Pupils who have just finished their year 11 studies arrived at the school in vintage vehicles, flash newer cars, in a horsebox and even by fire engine as they enjoyed a party with live entertainment and a disco.
The prom-goers donned sharp suits and dazzling dresses to fit the stylish casino theme.
The event was organised by teaching assistant Caroline Nightingale and the school’s prom committee and ended on a poignant note – with the students letting off balloons in memory of former headteacher Jo Fletcher, who died in January.
The pupils had hoped to light Chinese lanterns in honour of Miss Fletcher but were unable to due to the wet weather and they will now be lit at a later date.
