Staff at Sainsbury’s in Spalding wore anything but the right clothes for a good cause to help seriously ill children in hospital.

The store organised a Wrong Trousers Day for Wallace and Gromit’s Charity, named after the Oscar winning animated characters.

Amy Morley, public relations ambassador for the store, said: “Many colleagues got involved in the event by wearing different trousers and, in some cases, certain people were more daring than others.

“We managed to spread the word about the charity to customers and we hope that more people will get involved in the future.”
