SPALDING Grammar School hall was transformed for a step back in time to the 60s and 70s for the Spalding Lions disco.

More than 100 people enjoyed listening and dancing to music that some of them remember from their teenage years, played by Alan Long Services.

To help provide sustenance for all the energetic dancers a hog roast was provided by Trevor Sharpe Butchers of Gosberton.

To add to the authenticity of the evening several of the party goers dressed in the wonderful fashions of the two decades. The mini dress made an appearance and flower power was worn in many guises.

The evening was a resounding success and many of those who attended have asked for another evening next year.
