The Butterfly Hospice is inviting you to step back in time and put on your dancing shoes for an evening of 1940s dining and dancing.
Springfields Events Centre in Spalding is the venue for the themed 1940s Dinner and Dance on Saturday, September 28.
Starting at 6.30pm with a free “taster session” for first timers to learn some 40s dance moves or have a “refresher class” for the more experienced followed by a two-course dinner then more time to enjoy the band and try your hand at swing,jive and more vintage dances.
Eight-piece band Sonny and the Honeydippers will be playing and DJ for the evening will be Pinball Paul from Rugcutters Lindyhop.
Dress code is 1940s style with lots to choose from whether you want to wear military uniform, 40s dress and make up of the era, go as a ‘land girl’ or something else.
