TWO Spalding men who are spending the year raising as much cash as possible for Parkinson’s UK have boosted their funds with a static bike ride.

Tim Langford and Chris Peel are undertaking all kinds of fundraising tasks, culminating with a 400-mile cycle ride around northern Ireland over four days in June.

Tim lost his father-in-law Jim Rutledge to Parkinson’s just before Christmas and has decided to fundraise in his memory.

The pair spent the weekend at Crowland Garden Centre doing a static bike ride and collection.

The ride – to be called the Jim Rutledge Memorial Cycle Ride – will include 15 categorised climbs.
