Friday, July 12: The 51st annual church flower festival has turned St Matthew’s in Sutton Bridge into a blaze of colour.
You can visit up to 4pm on Monday – and everyone is welcome, says flower festival chairman Colin Tavner.
This year’s theme is Now and Then, charting the history of just about everything from The Royal British Legion to the conquest of Everest.
Refreshments and light lunches are available and there’s a marquee outside with every imaginable plant so you can re-stock your garden at bargain prices.
There are stalls in the church too, including a raffle and tombola.
Opening times are 10am-6pm Saturday, noon-6pm Sunday and 10am-4pm on Monday.
