There will be plenty going on in the Springfields Arena and Festival Gardens over flower parade weekend.

On Saturday, the parade starts from the arena, giving visitors a chance to view all the floats up close and soak up the atmosphere as the excitement builds towards the moment at 2pm when the parade begins its journey.

There will be lots more to see and do at Springfields Festival, both inside in the exhibition halls and outside in the arena and around the beautiful gardens with its thousands of tulips and daffodils in bloom in the woodlands and landscaped flower beds. There are flowers on display by the South Holland churches, arts and craft stalls and lots more attractions.

On Sunday, in addition to the festival, the Springfields Classic Car Show returns for its fourth year. There will be around 200 classic cars on show during the day, a must for any car enthusiast or those who just like to admire the time and effort put in by exhibitors.

Entrance to Springfields Festival is £6 for adults and £5 for senior citizens on Saturday and £3 for all tickets on Sunday. Children under 16 are free on both days when accompanied by an adult.

Opening times are 9am to 6pm on Saturday and 10am to 5pm on Sunday.
