Schools all over the district have been sent bulbs to take part in the daffodil competition organised by The Lincolnshire Daffodil Society in association with Springfields Horticultural Society.

Primary schools taking part include Gedney Hill, Gosberton, Gosberton House, Holbeach, Holbeach St Marks, John Harrox at Moulton, Long Sutton, Spalding schools Monkshouse, St John’s, St Paul’s, St Norbert’s and Spalding Primary, Pinchbeck East, Shepeau Stow, St Bartholomew’s at West Pinchbeck, Westmere at Sutton Bridge, Weston Hills and William Stukeley at Holbeach.

Also participating are Spalding’s Priory School and brownies at Gosberton and in other groups in the district.

The show is open both days from 10am to 4pm and entry is £1 (free to children under 16).
