Many schools and businesses supported ITV’s Text Santa’s Christmas Jumper Day on Friday, including Thomas Cowley High, Donington. Money raised for the Text Santa cause will go towards Macmillan Cancer Support, Make-a-wish UK and Save the Children.

Students made wearing their woollies worthy by donating to the cause, and also enjoyed ‘Thomas Cowley High School’s Got Talent’. Students showcased their talent with musical instruments or singing.

The money raised by all the schools who took part in wearing festive knitwear will help all those affected by crisis or granting wishes to children suffering life threatening illnesses this Christmas, both in the UK and abroad.

Also supporting the event locally and donning jumpers were children from the Little Treasures nurseries in Holbeach and Pinchbeck and staff at Spalding’s Munro Medical Centre.
