A new adaptation of Dickens’ tale of the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge, A Christmas Carol, is being presented by Act II in Spalding from Tuesday.

The story of Scrooge, who is visited on Christmas Eve by a series of ghosts, will be played out around Ayscoughfee Hall Museum from Tuesday until next Saturday, December 15 (7.30pm).

The audience will be able to follow the ghosts around Ayscoughfee Hall and see Scrooge’s past, present and future Christmases played out in the impressive surroundings of the Grade 1 listed hall in Spalding.

This is a sumptuous feast of theatre – and perfect for the festive season! The show lasts one hour 30 minutes, and there is an interval.

Tickets cost £9/£7.50 concessions – £6.50 per ticket for groups of ten or more – and are available from Ayscoughfee Hall on 01775 764555.
