A special event was held at Gedney Drove End Village Hall to raise money for the Royal British Legion.
The donations made at the Poppy Picnic and a Lights Out event previously added up to £86, which was handed over to John Hathaway of the Royal British Legion.
The Poppy Picnic and games event is a national event which invites people to come together for a good cause, with all money raised – via donations – going towards the Royal British Legion.
The event included lots of fun games and activities for all the family, including an air hockey table, board games and soft mat bowls.
John Cain, who was at the event, said: “The event went really well despite the bad weather.
“It was something for the kids to do while on holiday from school and they had fun.”
