Spalding’s first People’s Parade is happening on Sunday as part of a family fun day (11am to 5pm).

There will be live music, games, bouncy castles and stalls at the fun day held at the Sir John Gleed School.

At 1pm a parade will leave the school site – travelling along Neville Avenue, Maple Grove, Albert Street, High Street, Church Gate, Love Lane, Halmer Gate and Halmer Gardens.

It will consist of entertainment, such as the Breaston Highlanders, the Polish Saturday School Marchers, Endana School of Dance and Diamondz Dance Group, as well as a number of decorated handmade trolley floats sponsored by local groups and businesses.

Entry to the site is free.
