Stevie Austin is usually putting a smile on people’s faces as he serves up pizza or pasta at Frankie & Benny’s in Spalding.

This time though he is hoping to cheer seriously ill children with his donation to Rays of Sunshine as a result of a skydive.

So far, Stevie has raised £150 towards his £400 target, helping the Spalding restaurant reach its goal of £2,000 for its chosen charity partner.

Stevie was inspired by the work of the charity, which grants wishes for ill children aged three to 18 across the UK.

He completed the 13,000ft skydive, falling at about 120mph – and dropping to 5,000ft in around 40 seconds.
