Ten missing wildlife creatures will be hiding in shop windows in and around The Crescent, Spalding, on Friday when the town turns orange for the Pumpkin Parade.

Children are being invited to track them down by checking out the traders’ windows in The Crescent, Vine Street and Francis Street.

All of the correct entries will go into a hat and the youngster with the winning entry will earn a £50 voucher to be spent at any of The Crescent Traders’ Association shops.

There will be free stickers at Pumpkin Patch – between Debonair Hair Design and Wrights Flooring and Carpets.

Association chairman Darren Sutton said: “Our traders’ event will start at noon and go on until 5.30pm.

“In recent years many children from schools and nurseries have attended.

“I do hope we see you on the day.”

• Competition forms can be collected from Pumpkin Patch, Revills Shoes, butchers George Adams & Sons, J F Inkley menswear, Daisies flower shop, Robert Goddard or Bookmark.
